STORY:Purple speaks without uttering a word. It shouts strength. It whispers calm. It murmurs love notes. It won't be pushed around, but also blends with other colors like an old friend highlighting another's attributes. It is never afraid. It is truthful and true to itself.

ASSIGNMENT: TAKE A PHOTO OF AN OBJECT IN YOUR HOME AND WRITE A STORY.

STORY: The face squints into the sunlight while resting itself on my fireplace mantel. One wonders if it also squints in the dark of night or if it sleeps peacefully. Its bony eyes secretively strain to spy on me at my desk as I work. Whale bone eyes. Bone that has been tossed in cold, icey waters and scraped smooth by the abuse of rocks and sand as it twisted and struggled to save itself. Carved in Alaska.

It silently coughs up rocks in the night. Rocks that join it on the mantel and whisper furtively of curious places in which I have left footprints in their place. Each a link to a moment. A touch, a kiss, a tear. Forming a collective story of the this traveler's continuous journey.

ASSIGNMENT: TAKE A PHOTO OF THE VIEW OUT OF YOUR WINDOW. CREATE A PODCAST OF WHAT YOU SEE.
